There is plenty of progress in technology, while scientists have
a long way to go.
One of the surgical improvements that has helped to deal with Brain Tumor is
deep brain stimulation (DBS). Recent ClearPoint technology has made DBS much
more accessible to a wider array of patients. This type of neurosurgery is done
with lasers and proves to not be much slower and much less painful than
conventional operation.
